TRNSYS – The TRaNsient SYstem Simulation Program

The FMI++ TRNSYS FMU Export Utility is a stand-alone tool for exporting FMUs for Co- Simulation (FMI Version 1.0) from TRNSYS models. It is open-source (see license in Sec- tion 6.1) and freely available. It is based on code from the FMI++ library (see license in Section 6.2) and the Boost C++ libraries (see license in Section 6.3). The FMI++ TRNSYS FMU Export Utility provides the following functionality: ► A dedicated TRNSYS block called Type6139 that may be included in TRNSYS models in order to make them accessible to external applications via an FMI-compliant simulation interfaceThe FMI++ library introduces the concept of front end, back end and adapter for developing FMI interfaces for a wide variety of tools.
